Matthew writes: White gowned EPA detoxification technicians scoured the Whitehouse today searching for traces of a virus that had been sent in e-mail. Messages containing “a white pixel-like substance” were received by four different Whitehouse staffers this afternoon, and quickly spread throughout the Whitehouse. Fourteen people were evacuated to Bethesda Naval Hospital.

“We’re searching the Whitehouse post office protocol and other mail related processes both internally and externally to track down the source of this viral menace” reported an EPA spokesperson.

President Bush (gbush2@NO_SPAMwhitehouse.gov) appeared on national television to announce a concerted global search for the “Mail Transfer Agents of Terror who perpetutrated these acts of Terror. No terrorist stone will be left unturned in our search for those who are responsible for this terrorist act. Mr. Klez, we will hunt you down, and the country you live in. And you can take that to the Bank!”

The binary code of this virus purportedly matches the binary sources of e-mail borne viruses developed by the NSA during the 1960’s, which correctly anticipated the technologies of e-mail and Visual Basic three decades before Microsoft Outbreak was released.
